Trends to Consider Going Into 2021

As 2020 is coming to a close, it is time for us to start thinking about upcoming trends for the new year! 2020 was a very different year for all of us, and we could all use a fresh start to go into the new year. Throughout this article you will see our top predictions for trends going into 2021.

Polished Products

In 2021, we think a more modern look will be seen in homes across the country. Stone is a great way to add simple design elements to your home. We are predicting polished products will be in the new wave for 2021. Polished stone gives you a strong, expensive, and fresh look. It draws attention, while remaining neutral enough to complement any given space. You can be bold with a dark stone or remain neutral with tanner and light-colored stone.

Gardens, Gardens, and More Gardens!

In 2020, we spent a lot of time outside with nature and we see this trend following us into 2021. We think creating beautiful, peaceful and Zen gardens will be an ongoing trend during the spring and summer months of 2021. Filling your space with nature helps to keep you grounded as well as in touch with the earth.

Our products can even be used to create beautiful garden spaces! Thinking of creating a coy pond or waterfall throughout your garden! Check out our list of palletized products that can be used to carve out your garden space!

Light Warm Tones with Dark Accents

We think being “one with nature” will continue into 2021 and will influence many of your design spaces. We are predicting stones with warm and earthy colors will make a large comeback this year! Our top two products to look out for in 2021 are Winchester River Rock and Bayside Skimmers.

To balance out light and warmth we are predicting dark accents will accompany these tones. Creating a balance between dark and light products will help create stability throughout your home. We suggest homes that are darker in color utilize lighter stones, whereas homes lighter in color use darker stones such as Mexican Beach Pebbles.

Outdoor Patios

After the year we have had, we are predicting people are going to really amp up their outdoor patio spaces. We are predicting more veneer and flagstone will be sold to create a more open and inviting space for everyone to enjoy. We are also predicting more fire pits, outdoor kitchens, and pools will be installed in 2021!

We are excited to enter the new year and wish you all good health and joy in 2021.
